This tradition started 5 years ago when I realized the majority of my friend group was unable to go home for Thanksgiving. We were a roughy bunch of 21-28 year olds who were all finding our place in the world. Being the hosting gal that I am, I instead on cooking and hosting a traditional Thanksgiving meal. At the time I lived in an apartment complex in Hermosa Beach with an amazing rooftop that we utilized for this event. Long story short my first annual Friendsgiving was a hit and became a tradition that I look forward to each year.
Throughout the past 5 years I have made it my mission to level up each Friendsgiving, from food to place settings each years improvement continues to be something I’m extremely proud of. This Holiday for me has become a way to show those around me how thankful I am to have them in my life. Cooking a meal for others to enjoy is truly the most rewarding experience for me.
I was blessed this year to have new and old friends at my table. Every person has impacted my life in someway and to have them joined together around me was truly one of the best highlights of my year.
