With the very late notice of planning for the Austin Grand Prix, I had about 24 hours to come up with my race day outfit. If you know me, you know my outfit is incredibly important because my mood usually is affected by the way that I feel and I feel good when I look good. I put extra time into choosing outfits because I genuinely enjoy the creativity an individual brings when putting on an outfit. I went to the Austin Grand Prix mainly because it was Daniel Ricciardo‘s last race of 2023 in a McLaren seat so with that being said, I knew that I was going to wear my Daniel Ricciardo merch, which is this lovely black snapback that says Ric Rodeo . I personally didn’t want to go full team merch just because that isn’t really my vibe and wanted this outfit to be something I could wear to any in scenario. In my eyes I needed this outfit to be some thing I felt good in and could wear to the race, to dinner or maybe even to the club. For that reason I went with my tried and true Air Force One sneakers and an all black outfit to match my Danny Ric merch hat.
I love cargo pants and I’m comfortable in them so I knew I wanted a black cargo pants now. The leather corset top is a bit controversial but honestly I was comfortable in it all day. I was never too hot. It wasn’t too tight and it did everything that I needed to do, this outfit was a 10/10 for me because everything that I was prepared to do in this outfit. I did.
This outfit took me to the Austin Grand Prix for 12 hours, took me to dinner after the race, and then took me to a club to party while Lando Norris was DJ’ing. All in all this was a 10 out of 10 outfit for me.
